I thought that I would never see
a mattress comfy as an equity
which climbs to Heaven bit by bit -
but always takes the time to split.
A stock that mounts the live long day
and never falters on the way.
A stock that pays a dividend
with charts as welcome as a friend.
A stock impervious to news
which doesn't know a way to lose.
Such dreams were bought by fools like me.
Now Serta guards my do re mi.
