I speak as a Senior Citizen. And one who really knows.
With CD interest rates at these AWEful all time lows.
The millions that we "OLD FOLKS" have saved.
Are PRACTICALLY keeping us all enslaved.
We don't dare to buy anything purely WHIMsical.
For fear we'll "DOWN SIZE" our basic "PRINCIPAL."
For once the "GOLDEN EGG," is cracked.
Our whole Economy has been BUSHwacked.
So GREENSPAN please get up the urge.
RAISE "SHORT TIME RATES!Let us, "OLD FOLKS," splurge!"
Twill give the sluggish Economy a CASHthartic purge
And send Wall Street and all of US on an upward surge.
