Fifteen Feet Beneath Manhattan by Michael Silverstein

A Dyspeptic's Guide To Contemporary American Politics (In Verse)

"Nowadays, you can't turn on the TV without some talking head telling you about the economy. Yet, in a world overrun by 'analysts,' only one man has the guts, the brains, and, quite frankly, the poetry to put it all in perspective. That man is Michael Silverstein... Silverstein is a true intellectual." — Gersh Kuntzman, The New York Post

"Few people have found much to laugh about in the stock market this year. Michael Silverstein is the exception. The Bard of the Bourse can find humor in losing money, globalization and stock options." — USA Today

About Silverstein's Verse

Angling for Trouble
by Ronald Cohen

A certain young man from Cape Cod
Went down to a friend for some scrod
He measured, he weighed
For that which he'd paid
Then cursed on the ground that he trod.
The scrod he'd bought was plain scrawny
A morsel so meager and slight
Our man felt it ought to've been brawny
So he ranted and looked for a fight.
He vented his spleen on his crony
With fury so fierce and so lewd
‘Come forth with the fish you old phony
If I don't get scrod I've been screwed’
