Farewell To Credit Cards

We had a nifty long time run
My credit cards and me
I played the game, oh yes, 'twas fun
That naughty spending spree.

They never were a painless tool
There always was some cost
But now they'd play me for a fool
Screw them! My trade they've lost.

I now disdain the Visa squeezers
My Master Card's regard discard
I'll no more fall for teaser pleasers
Their life enhancing claims canard.
