I got back my home, with a lower cost loan
On terms devised by Tim and Ben
I gave it a shot, but work have I not
Thus I've fallen in default again.

Home, home, it feels strange
To live with home costs always changed
This American dream, now just makes me scream
It's upkeep my budget's deranged.

I was happy the day, the banks let me pay
A monthly charge that made more sense
'Cause the deal I had, was so awfully bad
'I thought I'd soon live in a tent.

It's upkeep my budget's deranged.

It would be such a chore, refinance once more
With new rates I could maybe hump it
But if truth be told, this game's getting told
And I'm thinking i'll just maybe dump it.
